Prix SGVC
«Prix SGVC» for young talent
Every year the SGVC awards an innovation prize to talented university graduates. The prize is intended not only to recognise an excellent graduate dissertation, but also encourage talented youngsters to continue their studies and research. The decisive criteria for this award are innovation, creative thinking and the courage to implement new ideas.
The SGVC invites universities and universities of applied sciences to submit the best dissertations in the field of process or chemical engineering technology for participation in the competition. Each lecturer can propose a maximum of one paper. Dissertations by individuals or teams from the last autumn exam session and from the current year’s spring exam session can be included.
The best papers are each awarded a prize of CHF 2000 (Master/degree of dissertation) resp. CHF 1000 (Bachelor Thesis). The jury is composed of representatives from industry, universities of applied sciences and universities under the chairmanship of the SGVC President. The young winners present their papers at the awards ceremony, which takes place at the SGVC general meeting.
